If you want to hear from a linguistics student who made his way to a
relevant job in industry, then this event is for you! Nate LaFave earned
his PhD in Linguistics at NYU and is currently working as Senior Language
Data Researcher at Amazon. Come ask him anything you want about his
transition, what it's like working for such a big company, and anything
else you can think of! The event will be beneficial for undergraduate
linguistics students too, as many wonder how to apply their linguistics
degrees outside of academia.
We hope to see you there!
Best,
Your BULA Officers
