Critical Language Scholarship Program Information Session

Dear BULAers, You may be interested in the State Department's Critical Language Scholarship Program. This fully-funded language and cultural immersion program is offered in 14 different languages, and 9 of those programs don't require any prior knowledge of the language. They are holding an information session tomorrow (Tuesday, September 19) at 3pm in 610 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 106C. BU Linguistics Association Fall 2017 Survey

Dear BULA Members, Welcome back for the new semester! We have a bunch of exciting events in the works for the new semester, including a game night, an African Languages Night (we're Prof. Zoli Mali will teach us how to pronounce the clicks in her native languages Zulu and Xhosa, amongst other things), and a workshop called How to Create Your Own Language. To help us schedule these events as well as possible, and to help with our planning for the future of the club, we'd be grateful if all members would fill out the following form by Friday, September 22.
