Avatar Showing - THIS Friday!

Good evening, I hope everyone's Thanksgiving break was fun and very restful as I am sure these next few weeks will not be. I am sending out another (final) e-mail reminder to all of you about the free Avatar showing on Friday night from 7 - 10 pm in CAS 522. There will be a small discussion of the Na'vi language and then a scholarly review of the data... and of course by this I mean watching the movie. :D I hope to see you all there, as it will be a great time! ____________________________________________________________________ Also... some notes on future events: -On Monday the 13th from 5 pm until whenever, some of the BULA officers are planning on doing some light studying in the GSU. This is nothing formal, but a nice way to chat about things you might be getting tested on or just chat! -Next semester we plan to hold monthly meetings on various discussion topics such as orthography, emoticons, etc. Keep an eye out for these! ____________________________________________________________________ Sorry for such a lengthy message, I hope you were informed! Avatar Showing - BULA Film Night!

Hello everyone, Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up on a big event we have coming up! It's fun... and free! "Come see Avatar on the big screen! We will provide a short overview of the Avatar language (Na'vi) and then show the film in its entirety in CAS 522 (and if you've never explored the fifth floor of CAS you're in for an adventure). Come join fellow linguistics enthusiasts and people who simply like good movies for a fun night!" This is taking place on December 3rd from 7 pm till 10 pm (in CAS 522).
