Hello!
For those of you who were unable to attend last night's meeting, here
is what was decided by majority vote:
T-shirts will be green (you can see the exact green on the facebook
event page) with black text that says "I love linguistics" in multiple
languages, including French, Arabic, Korean, Greek (possibly Ancient),
Chinese, German, IPA and maybe English. It will also have "BULA"
somewhere on the shirt, but not too prominently.
If the thought of wearing one of these shirts appeals to you, please
let me know at mquimby(a)bu.edu no later than Friday 10/16. I will go to
the Linguistics Open House on the 19th a little early to collect your
money. If you cannot attend the Open House, please let me know and I
will meet with you between 10/16 and 10/21 to get your name, size, and
$10.
